Book a self-starter session to learn basic exercise techniques

The self-starter session is for beginners who want to start exercising with dumbbells, barbells and other free weights but don’t quite have the knowledge, skills or confidence to use them.

The self-starter session aims to help you feel confident about using free weights and takes one of two formats, depending on your preference:

  1. Self Designed: You let me know what exercises you want to learn and I’ll teach you how to do them.
  2. Template Session: You are guided through a ready made session that teaches you the basic movement patterns that form the basis of dozens of free weights exercises – squat, hinge, push and pull.
